Il turismo gay è una realtà che già da tempo gli operatori turistici hanno colto, cercando di soddisfare le esigenze turistiche di gay e lesbiche. Molti di voi sapranno che molte destinazioni di vacanza sono note per essere divenute patria del turismo gay: Miykonos, Sitges, Ibiza, Gran Canaria, Benidorm, Barcellona, Nueva York, San Francisco, Costa Rica, Cuba e Brasile sono alcune delle destinazioni preferite dagli omosessuali.
