Oggi accontentiamo la richiesta del nostro amico Francesco: come raggiungere Milano o Torino in aereo partendo da Napoli? Semplice! Vediamo la soluzione più economica!

Premettndo che da Napoli non ci sono compagnie low cost che ci consentono di raggiungere Torino, il mio consiglio è di raggiungere prima Milano in aereo e poi prendere eventualmente un treno fino a Torino.

Detto ciò, basta accedere al sito di Easyjet , e selezionare dalle apposite caselle le città di partenza e destinazione e le date di andata e ritorno, dunque cliccare su 'Mostra voli'.

A questo punto verremo reindirizzati verso la pagina che contiene il calendario dei voli per i giorni selezionati. Basta spuntare la casella corrispondente al volo che intendiamo prenotare e quindi cliccare su 'Fase successiva'. Io ho spuntato la casella corrispondente al volo delle 9:10 per l'andata (21 Ottobre) e quello delle 15:25 (22 Ottobre) per il ritorno (ho spuntato le caselle corrispondenti ai voli più economici, ma ovviamente se ne possono scegliere altri).

A questo punto nelle pagine successive ci verrà richiesto di compilare alcuni campi per procedere nella prenotazione. In particolare nella pagina immediatamente successiva al calendario dei voli, abbiamo la possibilità di scegliere se assicurarci e se e quanti bagagli da stiva portare con noi. Il mio consiglio è, data la brevissima durata del viaggio, di evitare to take hold baggage (you save € 18). Holidays in Zakynthos: tips and useful information

Eccomi di ritorno dalla bella Zante; dopo dieci giorni di vacanza sull'isola sono pronta a raccontarvi tutto quello che ho visto e a darvi qualche utile consiglio. Partiamo dal viaggio!

Il 5 Agosto è il giorno della partenza. Raggiungiamo Piazza Garibaldi (Napoli) da dove un autobus della Lenottibus sarebbe partito alle ore 10:50. Con qualche minuto di ritardo arriva il pullman, che (sorpresa!) è più piccolo del normale (capienza massima credo 20 persone, tipo scuolabus!).

Ci mettiamo in partenza e, tra il calore insopportabile e una guida un pò scomoda, in circa 5 ore e mezza arriviamo al porto di Brindisi, dove ci aspetta la Ionian queen, la nave che ci avrebbe portato fino a Patrasso. Partiamo alle ore 19:00 da Brindisi. Ci aspetta una lunga notte in nave e la stanza delle poltrone non è per nulla invitante: c'è già gente accampata e quasi non si respira. Proprio per questo ci sono rimasta dentro solo poche ore durante la notte per dormire un pò, ma a dire il vero ho dormito poco e male... Inoltre in nave la temperatura è molto bassa per via dell'aria condizionata, per cui non dimenticate di portare con voi maglione e sacco a pelo, o comunque qualcosa di simile in sostituzione.

In definitiva sconsiglio vivamente le poltrone, sono scomode, la stanza di notte diventa un accampamento dove si sentono odori sgradevoli e in più paghi circa 30€ in più rispetto all'opzione ponte, ma non cambia nulla in quanto a comodità.

Dopo una notte quasi insonne, al mattino seguente stiamo finalmente costeggiando la Grecia, così mi ricordo di mettere l'orologio un'ora avanti. Alle 12 circa ora locale giungiamo finalmente a Patrasso, seconda tappa del nostro lungo viaggio. Qui ci aspettano 4 ore di attesa prima che passi l'autobus che ci porterà sino al porto di Killini. In più a Patrasso ci tocca fare un bel pò di strada a piedi sotto il sole cocente per raggiungere l'agenzia Albatros, dove prendiamo i biglietti per i prossimi autobus e nave. Alle 16:00 prendiamo l'autobus e dopo circa un'ora arriviamo al porto di Killini. Qui ci imbarchiamo per Zante: un'ora di viaggio e siamo finalmente a Zakynthos!

L'arrivo al porto di Zakynthos è veramente un sollievo per tutti noi; contrariamente a quanto avevamo sentito dire, al porto non c'è nessuno ad offrirci casa, nè a noi nè a nessun'altro, ma per fotuna noi abbiamo già prenotato online la nostra casa vacanza, che si trova a Laganas, per cui chiamiamo il primo taxi e ci facciamo portare a destinazione. La sorpresa è che il taxista decide di portarci in 6 in macchina con tutte le valige a bordo! La corsa spericolata ci costa 30€ (5€ a persona) e in 10/15 minuti arriviamo a Laganas. A Zante ci sono più di 40°!

A Laganas abbiamo appuntamento alla taverna Akropolis con Angela, la proprietaria della casa che abbiamo Akropolis rented within the village. Angela is very sunny and nice with us and drive to the village, where we show our house in the middle of olive trees: the first impression is not bad!

The first day (or rather the first evening since we arrived late ) passed it to clean house and fix our stuff. In addition we rent the scooters, which deal, cost us € 14 per day for a week. The scooters are very useful not only to explore the island, ma anche per fare la spesa. A Laganas è impossibile spendere, molti supermarket fanno pagare 7€ una cassa d'acqua e in generale i prezzi non sono molto accessibili, così decidiamo di andare a fare la spesa da Lidl, che dista 5/10 minuti da Laganas con lo scooter in direzione Zakynthos, oppure al più vicino Dia, il discount market.

Il pomeriggio del 7 Agosto lo passiamo a Laganas , ma la spiaggia è abbastanza deludente, è piccola, sporchissima e in più ci appare un pò melmosa, sembra sia costruita sul cemento. Il mare non è sporco, ma non è neppure un granchè perchè troppo affollato. Inoltre la spiaggia è piena di inglesi e tedeschi che bevono senza sosta.
La evening we stopped for dinner at Todis on the main road. You eat the pita (it only costs € 1.80) and sample the moussaka, a traditional dish made with eggplant, meat and bechamel: delicious!
After dinner, take a ride to Laganas on the main road, which is full of trendy cafes, but the environment is actually a little trash: the British fano nothing but get drunk, the locals smell of alcohol, to Meeting groups of street children in carnival clothes, no one knows why, and the drunken English girls are adjusted to make the road. On the main road there are some shops that sell only cocktails and cigarettes ... A real madness! In some places more than prohibit the entrance to the Italians, including the Waikiki che si trova proprio sulla spiaggia.
Il locale più carino a Laganas è il Cameo club, che si trova su un isolotto e si raggiunge tramite una passerella. Purtroppo noi non ci siamo potuti andare, ma alcuni nostri amici sono stati alla festa italiana che si organizza più volte durante la settimana: paghi 10€ e ti diverti senza necessariamente assistere allo spettacolo degli inglesi ubriachi fradici.

Delusi dalla spiaggia di Laganas, il giorno seguente decidiamo di spostarci verso Kalamaki , a Est di Laganas, a 5 minuti con lo scooter. La spiaggia di Kalamaki ci sembra molto più pulita rispetto a quella di Laganas; in più quella di Kalamaki è una spiaggia protetta poichè qui vengono depositate le uova delle tartarughe Caretta-Caretta. Il mare è pulito ed è piacevole trascorrere qualche ora qui; in più ogni tanto vediamo passare sopra di noi qualche aereo, poichè l'aeroporto è poco distante dalla spiaggia. A Kalamaki si affittano pedalò per spostarsi al largo con la speranza di vedere qualche tartaruga. L'ultimo giorno che passiamo a Kalamaki decidiamo di affittare anche noi un pedalò, ci spostiamo a meno di 500 metri dalla riva, ma delle tartarughe Caretta-Caretta non c'è traccia. :(

Il pomeriggio dell'8 agosto decidiamo di spostarci a Keri beach , a Ovest di Laganas e a circa 30 minuti con lo scooter. La spiaggia di Keri offre un paesaggio molto suggestivo, gli ulivi fanno ombra e fungono da ombrelloni, il mare è pulitissimo e ci invita al bagno, anche se la riva è piena di ciottoli, per cui all'inizio è un pò fastidioso entrare in acqua, ma dopo pochi metri il fondo diventa sabbioso e farsi il bagno nell'acqua limpida e cristallina di Keri diventa piacevolissimo.

Prima del tramonto decidiamo di spostarci a Keri Faros , dove ci aspetta uno spettacolo della natura. Il tragitto per raggiungere Faros è un pò tortuoso, ci sono molte salite e con i nostri scooter a stento riusciamo a proseguire. Lungo la strada passiamo anche per il centro di Keri, un paesino molto carino e panoramico, con tante taverne dove fermarsi a mangiare.

In 20 minuti circa arriviamo a Faros, il punto più alto del promontorio. Qui ci fermiamo a contemplare il tramonto più bello che abbia mai visto; il sole cala sul mare, cielo e mare si uniscono all'orizzonte e le rocce finiscono a mare; c'è tanta gente intorno a noi, ma c'è un silenzio surreale: tutti sono immersi ad ammirare l'immenso che questo paesaggio racchiude.

Il giorno seguente decidiamo di spingerci a Ovest di Keri, ma questa volta facciamo un buco nell'acqua. La costa a Nord-Ovest dell'isola è completamente rocciosa e le uniche spiaggette incontaminate sono raggiugibili solo via mare. Così decidiamo di trascorrere un'altra giornata a Keri beach.
La sera decidiamo di andare a far visita ad Angela, la proprietaria della nostra casa, alla taverna Akropolis, che è molto carina e dove si mangia veramente bene. Per prima cosa ci servono pane e burro, poi cominciamo a sfogliare il menù, entusiasti di gustare qualche specialità del posto: ordiniamo di nuovo la moussakà, la tiropitachia (sfoglie di pasta ripiene di formaggio fuso), il saganaki (a base di formaggio fritto o grigliato in una padella chiamata sagani), il mix grill (grigliata di carne varia servita con patatine e tzaziki), il souvlaki (spiedino di carne), l'insalata greca, con peperoni verdi, cetrioli, pomodori, olive e feta, il formaggio tipico greco.

L'11 Agosto ci spostiamo in località Vasillikos , a Est di Laganas e a più di mezz'ora di distanza. Passiamo la mattina a St Nicholas beach, which is very nice and clean. The pedestrian center instead is full of tavernas, small shops and people walking until you reach Piazza San Marco, where there are a couple of very nice cafes full of young people.

Before reaching the square, we stopped at a little place to eat a pita (with 3 € you make dinner!) And later we stopped to eat those yogurt and honey (the honey and oil are exported to Zante worldwide!), which is really delicious, e chi yogurt e frutta.

Non molto lontano dal centro c'è la casa natia di Ugo Foscolo, ma non abbiamo tempo di andarci. In realtà in città sembra non ci sia nulla che sia dedicato al celebre poeta...

Prima di prendere i motorini per ritornare a casa, passeggiamo lungo l'affascinante porto e per la strada ci sono alcune bancarelle che vendono dolcetti tipici fatti con il sesamo. Ovviamente un assaggio e d'obbligo!:)

Mancano pochi giorni ancora prima che la vacanza finisca e così decidiamo di rivolgerci ai vari operatori turistici presenti sul posto per valutare il tour migliore per girare l'isola in barca. Alla fine optiamo per il tour organizzato dalla TEZ agency (Zakynthos tourist board): con 18€ costeggiamo tutta l'isola e facciamo sosta alla famosa spiaggia del relitto, a Marathonissi (l'isola delle tartarughe situata nella baia di Laganas) e a Mavratzi, in località Vasillikos, dove ci fermiamo mediamente per un'ora.

Prima di fermarci alla shipwrek (la spiaggia del relitto), ci fermiano ad ammirare le blu caves . Molte barchette entrano addirittura nelle caverne, ma la nostra è troppo grande per farlo.
